And my home is WIfi............

And finally after some attempts i was able to setup a wireless network @ m home.......
Thanks to BSNL and ubuntu............
well,my connection is BSNL 500c plan,and i got a bsnl type 2 modem with the conection which is wifi supporting,it had a little Antenna too on it.......

Know my laptop is a Lenovo G530 53Q model,with wifi etc.......
It came in DOS so, i had to install any OS in it,well i selected Ubuntu because of its user friendly nature and high graphics,
after i installed ubuntu it showed some restricted drivers available for my wireless
ie, BROADCOM STA Wireless driver..
well, i activated it ......
Den through wired connection i configured my modem by typing 192.168.1.1
den i created a wireless connection by simply clicking o the networks icon and adding a wireless connection,
you will get the SSID , BSSID and if you want u can give a MAC address for security.Soon after creating this wireless network, i was shown connected to the modem.
After that i used the PPPOECONF to trigger my connection,i entered my Username and Password, and Viola........!!!!!!1
i am enjoying the mobility,
well, it feels to great to blog about this sitting in the kitchen with my Mom and sister's kids............

Final Year Class tour

After a long confusion, i decided to go for the class tour.........
Tour was from 3rd april to 8th april to Wayanadu,Ootty,and hokanagal.

Well, i enjoyed the tour,although there was some incompleteness, well something was missing.Yup i missed Spaar,also someone else too.......

My Project-Multitouch

So, guys right now we are working on our main Project -Multitouch
We being Me,Unni,Mikhil,and Spaar aka Pradeep..........

Its been a long time since we actually planned and started working on it,but many things came in between like Exams,Hackerdom(Our Dept Program) & many other things
So what is Multitouch?




Everyone should be familiar with the term touchscreen,well it offers a single touch point,now in Multitouch the surface offers more than one touch point,or more clearly it offers more than one cursor...
So we bought an Acrylic glass(which is little modified) for the surface,made some 20 holes on 2 opposite sides where we put IR LED's.Now,when we touch the surface the IR light inside the surface gets scattered by a phenomenon called Frustrated Internal Reflection(FIR).
Now these points are captured using a modified Webcam which detects only IR light,which appears as White Blobs on the webcam output,& Bingo!, we got our Cursors.the entire thing is projected onto our screen.
The blobs are fed to our program code,which is obviously in Python.
The library used is pythonmt........
The entire apparatus is as in diagra 2
So wish we luck please.......
We are still on it........

Howto stop expecting things from others..............????

how can we stop expecting things from our Dear ones.....?

people say you shouldnt expect anything from your dear ones,if you keep expecting you will get hurt(true fact) but,if people are dearer to us we will surely expect things from them,we are bound to it,its a human nature i think so.............

Well if there is a way someone please let me know............
